New Solaire-branded Casino In Cavite Confirmed By Bloomberry

Bloomberry logoBloomberry Resort Corp has confirmed that the company is in the final stages of acquiring land for a new Solaire-branded casino in Cavite.

Cavite is located about 66 kilometers southwest of Manila and already hosts several casinos. The Cavite property will be Solaire’s Resort & Casino’s third property in the Philippines after Solaire Resort & Casino in Parañaque and Solaire Resort North in Quezon City.

While the Cavite Solaire is still in its infancy, the project is expected to be developed and open for business in the next 5 to 10 years.

Alejandro Tengco, chairman of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), recently suggested that the new casino could open as soon as 2028.

Solaire North

Solaire North is the newest addition to the brand in the Philippines, and it officially opened its doors on May 25th, 2024. The North location is a $1 billion gaming complex located not too far from the metro Manila casino region. Solaire North recently launched its VIP operations in September 2024, toasting the opening with a ceremonial ceremony.

Bloomberry chairman and CEO Enrique Razon told the media that the company is planning for future locations but is focused on ramping up operations at the Solaire North location before launching new projects. Razon stated, “Once Solaire North is fully ramped up, and both properties are generating a certain expectation that we have on cash flow… then we will probably launch the Paniman project.”

Solaire Resort & Casino in Parañaque

The Solaire Resort & Casino in Parañaque was the first Bloomberry casino property in the Philippines. It is located in Entertainment City, a part of Metro Manila. The Solaire Resort is a staple in E-City and one of the nicest casino destinations in the city.

The Solaire in E-city has more than 199k square feet and hosts 400 gaming tables and 2,357 Slot machines. The casino’s total gross gaming revenues were P14.8 billion in the first quarter of 2024. While those numbers indicate that revenue is down for the mega casino resort, with new projects on the horizon, there is nowhere to go but up.

The Solaire Resort & Casino in Parañaque opened in March of 2016 and was the first in E-City to open its doors with a new mega concept similar to the casino in Macau. There are also 400 hotel rooms, a food court, shopping, and other non-gaming forms of entertainment on site.
